Please see below for further details on our premium quality range of shutter materials

Paulownia Hardwood

This range is manufactured solely from Paulownia hardwood. It is much lighter than MDF and PVC products, and comes in over 50 colours & stains (custom colours available). Being lighter makes it an ideal choice if you have larger windows, tier on tier shutters, or require window coverings for your roof spaces. Paulownia can also be used for installations such as shaped shutters, bay windows and conservatories that may require more complex shapes. Our Paulownia shutters are ethically sourced and has one of the highest strength to weight ratios on the market.

POPLAR WOOD

Poplar wood takes longer to reach maturity than the Paulownia Hardwood, and because of this, is a denser and extremely durable product. It is slightly heavier than Paulownia because of the timber density and is also available in all of our standard paint colours (as well as any custom colour). The Poplar range lends itself perfectly to installation locations that require additional durability, whilst at the same time a beautiful wooden product. Our Poplar range includes all the style and panel configuration options that comes as standard with our Paulownia range.

Polyvinyl (PVC)

Unlike our other shutter ranges, this synthetic range is crafted from 100% waterproof PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), and is a robust alternative to wooden shutters. This product is suitable for areas that see a high volume of traffic thanks to its durable make up, and also in wet or damp areas where moisture resistance is important. These shutters are mortise and tenon joined, with aluminium core frames, for ultimate stability and strength.
