The Antigua range of shutters is an entry-level premium product made from MDF, covered with an extruded polypropylene coating. Available in most of our popular styles, Antigua has a high-quality finish, making it a versatile and durable choice for your home. There are 9 colours available in the Antigua range.
Used commonly in applications such as boat building and furniture making, this lightweight durable timber lends itself perfectly to plantation shutter production.
Constructed from premium quality FSC Certified New Zealand Douglas Fir timber, these shutters also come with a choice of control options unavailable in our other ranges.
Constructed from a blend of painted MDF, with ABS louvres, Bermuda shutters offer a number of extra design choices beyond our entry-level Antigua range. With a choice of 22 colour choices, plus custom colour option, the frame and panels are painted to an incredibly high standard, providing a more natural finish for the shutters.
A blend of robust MDF frame and hardwood shutter panels offers great value, reducing the weight of the shutters, and providing wooden plantation shutters at an affordable price.
The use of wood panels make the shutters much lighter than the MDF Antigua range. There are 23 colours in this range, plus a custom colours option.
The Fiji range is manufactured solely from hardwood, it is much lighter than MDF products and comes in 50 colours. Being lighter makes it an ideal choice if you have larger windows or require window coverings for your roof spaces. Fiji can also be used for installations such as bay windows and conservatories that require more complex frames. Paulownia is a great wood for shutters, as it is not only ethically sourced, it also has one of the highest strength to weight ratios on the market.
Unlike our other shutter ranges, Java is crafted from high-grade ABS (acrylonile butadiene styrene), a more robust alternative to cheaper vinyl, shutters. ABS is a hard, lightweight plastic that is used for a range of purposes due to its shock absorbing properties. 23 colours are available in this range.
Being crafted from ABS, rather than wood or MDF, means that Java is fully waterproof, making it an ideal material for rooms with condensation issues or increased exposure to water.
This characteristic new product features thick robust frames to accommodate an optional hidden hinge. The louvres and frames are therefore proportionate in size to accommodate this hinge. 50 colours are available. The timber used to craft the shutters is the highest grade Ayous when painted, and the finest White Teak when stained. The wood has a high dimensional stability, making it ideal for joinery and carpentry such as in plantation shutters production.
